My desktop computer, where I store all my photos, have photoshop and whatnot, died two weeks ago. (I'm pretty sure it's just a hardware failure and don't expect any data loss.) In the process of getting a new machine set up, but the brand new video card failed. A replacement card is in the works, but until the new machine is running I won't be uploading anything new.
That said, I am working on a project at the moment. It's not doll, snake, or even photography related. But when it's done (and I'm able to upload again) it'll be posted here.
But going back to the subject of photography, CreativeTechs will be doing a free 4-week digital photography webinar starting this Wednesday, July 15th:
[link] The teacher is John Greengo (who works with Art Wolfe:
[link]). The classes are free if you're able to attend the live webinars, which will be held at 11 am Pacific time. The recorded classes will also be available for download for a fee.
I'll probably purchase the downloads for the photogaphy course. Although I can justify attending the Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign webinars on company time, I don't think the photography one's gonna fly.
